      SUMMARY: The Master Data Analyst/ NetSuite Admin position will be accountable for the overall quality of customer master data within NetSuite and other enterprise business applications, abiding by the master data policies, and the Customer Master Data Hub – Data Governance Charter. This position will assist in Data De-Duplication – identification and remediation – and service as the liaison between Finance and Operations as it relates to maintaining a clear picture into the Lexitas customer footprint. The NetSuite Master Data Analyst reports to the VP-CAO with a dotted line to the VP of Applications & Development. The Master Data Analyst/ NetSuite Admin is responsible for all activities related to supporting customer consolidation and cleansing for all business units (BUs) served by the Lexitas Corporate Accounting group .


      Essential Functions:

      • Ensures master data integrity in NetSuite and the Master Data Hub as well as maintaining the processes to support data quality.
      • Influence extends to peers and team members, and both local and remote stakeholders.
      • Assists in data management, governance, and data quality of master data requirements with other functional data owners to ensure master data integrity across the operation of financial systems is consistent and meets stated business rules and requirements.
      • Identifies areas for continuous data quality improvements and helps to resolve data quality problems as encountered.
      • Work independently to analyze various data sets related to customer invoicing.
      • Review and Deduplicate Customer records in NetSuite and the Master Data Hub
      • In collaboration with subject matter experts, serve as the lead data stewards to ensure the accuracy of Customer Hierarchical relationships and Customer Master Data (Business Name, Billing Contact Name, Billing Address, Contact email and Phone numbers).
      • Work with technical and integration developers to troubleshoot and fix data quality issues and/or revise existing application rulesets.
      • Present research and reported findings for Customer Master records to other analysts and data managers
      • Works with Accounting and IT controls and frameworks, to provision new NetSuite user accounts, terminate NetSuite user accounts, change NetSuite user account access levels, or other Admin duties related to user account management
      • Performs routine NetSuite Admin duties such as setups, reports, and basic troubleshooting
      • Escalates NetSuite issues to NetSuite Support as appropriate, and retains oversight throughout issue resolution until completion
      • Other duties as assigned.

      • Ability to learn new content areas and new skills quickly and well required

      EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

      • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in STEM or Finance
      • 2+ years of accounting systems / enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, MS Dynamics, SAP
      • 2+ years of NetSuite experience, preferable holding an active NetSuite Certification such as Suite Foundations or Certified Administrator
      • Advanced knowledge of core accounting functions such as Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report
      • Working knowledge of enterprise system architecture and core Master Data Hub concepts
      • Ability to identify, explain, and resolve complex data issues
      • Punctuality, flexibility, and a sense of urgency
      • Previous experience working with Data Quality and Integrity initiatives preferred.

      • Ability to take ownership, think independently and perform
      • Excellent writing and presentation skills required

      SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

      This position is not a supervisory position.

      LANGUAGE SKILLS

      Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal and external customers whose first language is English.

      CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

      • CFA certification or other relevant business, accounting, and IT certifications is a plus
