      Job Summary
      The Mechanical Engineer will lead the adoption of Ansys Discovery–based workflows for geometry creation, meshing, and solver preparation. This role delivers automated, parameterized scripting solutions supporting mechanical development teams while ensuring best-practice modeling standards and workflow enablement across the organization.
      Key Responsibilities
      • Build parametric geometries in Ansys Discovery using sketches, constraints, dimensions, extrusions, and Boolean operations.
      • Apply design intent through constraints and dimensions to create robust and reusable models.
      • Translate Discovery GUI operations into fully parameterized pyDiscovery scripts with variables and named selections.
      • Develop pyPrime scripts for meshing and pyMAPDL scripts for solver readiness, including materials, boundary conditions, and named selections.
      • Produce best-practice resources such as step-by-step guides, example scripts, and recorded demos.
      • Ensure all scripts comply with internal standards for MAPDL solver use and post-processing.
      • Validate geometry integrity, mesh quality, and material assignment accuracy.
      Required Experience
      • Strong expertise with Ansys Discovery, Prime Mesher, and scripting using pyDiscovery, pyPrime, and pyMAPDL.
      • Strong Python skills supporting parameterization, automation, and error handling.
      • Solid understanding of FEA principles, mesh quality metrics, and solver preparation.
      Nice-to-Have Experience
      • Prior experience with workflow migration or process enablement.
      • Strong communication and presentation skills for technical training and knowledge transfer.
