Job Description
- Req#: 1851332
- Researching and analyzing data including customer design proposals, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application.
- Designing products or systems for robotic control using electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic principles and components.
- Participating in fabrication and installation activities to ensure products and systems conform to engineering design and customer specifications.
- Coordinating operation, maintenance, and repair activities that optimize utilization of machines and equipment.
- Designing products and systems to interface machines, hardware, and software.
- Evaluating field installations and recommending design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions.
- Contribute to design reviews.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
- 3-4 years Mechanical Engineering related experience.
- 3-4 years of machine & product design experience using Solid Works, Pro-E, or Catia.
- Proficient design skills in CAD/SolidWorks software.
- Extensive experience in documenting design reviews.
- Proficient at documenting requirements.
- Must have experience in finite Element Analysis.
- Experience using hand calculations of stresses.
- Must have experience with GD&T.
- Proficient in using math software like Matlab or Mathcad.
- Familiar with failure modes and effects analysis.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Familiar Patent Law.
- Understanding of software development.
- Familiar with Systems; Heavy Equipment; Hydraulics; Gearing and Motor.
- Proficient in English .
