      Position Details:
      Position Type: Full Time / Contract-to-Hire (after 3 to 6 months)

      Compensation: $48 - $59/hr, depending on qualifications

      ** This is primarily a remote position. Successful candidate will need to work onsite for 50% of the first month, reducing to one week onsite per quarter thereafter

      Overview/Summary:
      As the facilities Mechanical Engineering Owner’s Representative, you and the other team members will work closely with client owners in a fast-paced, dynamic environment – in this role you would work on the client’s behalf to review designs, specs and drawings – provide feedback and comment.

      Technical engineering responsibilities include editing client specifications, design and oversight for piping and ducting for equipment heating, cooling, exhaust, and process chemicals and gasses in some of the most complex, densely packed industrial facilities on the planet. The design may include retrofit of existing building systems to accommodate tool installation including engineering calculations, equipment and component sizing, selection, and specification, and support during construction and integration into the factory. As the mechanical representative on a multi-discipline design team, your primary duty will be to review design packages consisting of P&IDs, layout drawings, details, and equipment plans followed by review of submittals, RFIs, and construction documents

      The successful candidate will be responsible for interfacing with client and site personnel, driving design and construction documents through the review process with a team.

      Required Qualifications:
      • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from ABET Accredited University
      • At least 7 years of practical application of mechanical facilities engineering, including HVAC, hydronics, process piping, exhaust, plumbing, and related mechanical facilities systems
      • At least 5 years of design project delivery processes experience
      • Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams
      • Strong verbal and written communication skills
      • Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and leadership experience
      • Must be legally authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis without sponsorship
      • Must successfully pass background and drug screenings
      Preferred Qualifications:
      • At least 2 years of experience working with complex semiconductor manufacturing tools, either their manufacture, installation, or use in cleanrooms
      • Proficient working knowledge of AutoCAD software
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
      • Forward-thinking, eager to learn best practices and contribute with innovative ideas
      • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base
      • Passion for buildings and construction
      • 3 years field experience
      • EIT or PE license
