What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage project execution and coordinate resources across multiple disciplines
- Take ownership of project performance including safety, schedule, budget, and client experience
- Mentor and coach project team members to ensure accountability
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and prepare reports that meet client requirements
- Identify and control construction risks while managing changes and improving project results
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BS from an ABET-accredited engineering program is preferred
- 20+ years of experience in a technical field (engineering, construction, planning, etc.)
- 10+ years of experience serving as a firm/client liaison in a support or lead role
- Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Construction management or a management/business degree
- PMP Certification
- Engineering design experience
- MBA
- Experience writing proposals
