      About the role

      Join Takeda as an experienced Medical Advisor based in Sydney.

      As we advance our innovative pipeline here at Takeda, we’re seeking an experienced Medical Advisor to lead strategic medical affairs in our Rare & Oncology team. You’ll be at the forefront of scientific leadership, patient safety, and cross-functional collaboration, driving medical plans that align with corporate goals and patient needs.

      What you will do:

      • Develop and o versee Medical Affairs a ctivities in Rare Diseases & Oncology Therapeutic Areas.
      • Create and execute medical plans for both pipeline assets and inline brands.
      • Provide medical/scientific input to global and local teams.
      • Lead or participate in key medical activities such as Advisory Boards and medical education.
      • Support company-sponsored and investigator-initiated studies.
      • Provide scientific and clinical expertise to stakeholders.
      • Ensure compliance with regulatory norms and internal policies.
      • Build relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare organizations.
      • Prioritize patient safety and support patient access programs.

      What you’ll bring:

      • Doctoral Degree in Life Science, PharmD, Ph.D., MD, or equivalent.
      • Demonstrated Medical Affairs experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
      • Proficiency in leveraging AI-generated insights and digital tools.
      • Experience in haematology or haem-oncology and product launch preferred.
      • Strong scientific leadership and ethical judgment.
      • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
      • Ability to travel for meetings and client sites, including overnight travel.
