The Medical Assistant Apprentice is entering into a Washington State Department of Labor (DOL) registered Apprenticeship program with Kadlec Medical Group, in conjunction with the Washington Association of Community Health (WACH).
This position functions under the supervision of a Certified Medical Assistant coach (preceptor) and within the scope of practice that the MA-C coach has determined is appropriate based upon the education and skills requirements of the WACH Apprentice Program; and, as defined by the Washington Administrative Code (WAC). Medical Assistant Apprentices are responsible for providing direct patient care and will practice up to the skills learned and approved to practice through the Apprentice program guidelines. MA Apprentices will apply current healthcare concepts and assist with routine or general clinical responsibilities that may contribute directly and indirectly to patient care under the supervision of the MA-C or Provider.
