What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support the clinical functions of the medical team by obtaining vitals for prescribers
- Coordinate scheduling and rescheduling of prescriber appointments and make reminder calls
- Maintain appropriate documentation in the electronic health record, including entering lab orders
- Provide venipuncture services as needed, if qualified
- Act as a liaison between medical resources and patients, monitoring care for assigned clients
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- Qualified Medication Administration Person (QMAP) certification within one year of hire
- CPR/BLS/CPI certifications within one year of hire
- Preferred: formal medical assistant training
- Preferred: three years of relevant clinical work experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience caring for clients with substance use disorders
- MA certification
- Additional relevant certifications in behavioral health or trauma-informed care
