What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform clinical, technical, administrative, and clerical duties under physician supervision
- Prepare patients for examination and treatment, including obtaining vital signs and medical history
- Assist with examinations, tests, procedures, and in-office surgery
- Administer medications and immunizations as ordered by the physician
- Document patient data and care in medical records, maintain confidentiality
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Completion of an accredited medical assistant program
- Job Related Certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA, NCMA, NRCMA)
- No experience required
- Must work day shifts in the United States
- Must have completed the Prisma Health Certification Institute (PHCI) Fast Track Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) program in lieu of education
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 0-2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a healthcare setting
