- Patient Preparation: Review and update patient records before visits, including Telehealth appointments. Check for recent test results and correspondence.
- Exam Room Maintenance: Clean and stock exam rooms between patient visits, ensuring compliance with infection control standards.
- Patient Screening: Greet patients, take vital signs, and document medical history accurately.
- Assistance During Exams: Support physicians and mid-level providers during patient examinations.
- Efficient Use of Time: Restock supplies and maintain clean, orderly exam rooms.
- Communication Skills: Excellent ability to take medical histories, understand instructions, and document information accurately.
- Tech Savvy: Beginner to intermediate computing and phone skills.
- Flexibility: Willingness to cross-train and adapt to various job duties.
- Multi-tasking: Thrive in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
- Cultural Sensitivity: Effective working with diverse populations.
- Professionalism: Knowledge of "Universal Precautions" and HIPAA standards.
- Bilingual: English/Spanish or other languages preferred.
- Driver’s License: Valid Colorado Driver’s License and insurance.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Current, valid Certification of Medical Assistant.
- Current, valid CPR certification.
