      The Mass General Brigham Medical Group is a system-led operating entity formed by Mass General Brigham to deliver high quality, low cost, innovative community-based ambulatory care.       We are thrilled to announce that our Endocrinology specialty has grown in the past year! We have multiple new providers who have joined our team to expand our service line and reach more patients across Cooley Dickinson Medical Group. Our specialty office provides services for patients with a wide variety of endocrine and metabolic disorders, including:
      - Addison Disease
      - Adrenal diseases
      - Diabetes
      - Endocrine disorders
      - Lipid disorders
      - Low testosterone
      - Osteoporosis
      - Thyroid diseases including thyroid cancer

      The practice is currently housed in Cooley Dickinson's multispecialty medical facility located at 22 Atwood Drive in Northampton, MA. Are you ready to bring your talent to this practice and join us in moving health care forward?


      Job Summary

      We are seeking a full-time 40-hour Medical Assistant to support the practice onsite, Monday through- Friday 8:30am- 5:00pm. As true partners to our nurses and providers, our Medical Assistants get the opportunity to work autonomously to the top of their education/certification while also functioning as part of the collaborative team. Our Medical Assistants rotate between our team of providers.

      Responsibilities:
      - Ensuring efficient patient flow through the office
      - Assisting during office visits (rooming, examinations, procedures, and treatments as directed)
      - Performing clinically appropriate tasks related patient panel management (phone calls, test results, prescription refill, coordination of care, etc.)
      - Maintaining neat, clean, and safe patient care areas
      - Interacting with patients and their families in a professional, friendly manner consistent with their needs.


      Qualifications

      Education High School Diploma or Equivalent required Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No Licenses and Credentials Certified Medical Assistant - Data Conversion - Various Issuers required Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] - Data Conversion - Various Issuers preferred Experience Experience as a medical assistant, with demonstrated proficiency in clinical and administrative tasks 3-5 years required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Strong leadership and team management skills. - Comprehensive knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and protocols. - Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and medical office software. - Ability to take vital signs, manual blood pressure, and collect blood samples and other specimens. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. - Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities. - Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced healthcare environment. - Knowledge of HIPAA and other privacy and security regulations.
