      Overview:

      Sentara Medical Group is currently offering a Sign on Bonus for qualified Medical Assistants!

      Qualified New Grads are eligible for a bonus. Must be either a CMA, CCMA, RMA, or EMT-Basic.

      This is a full-time Float Pool position which will require travel in the Southside.

      Differential pay is provided for the travel and flexibility that is needed for this role.

      Overview

      Perform patient care and administrative/clerical related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluations, and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

      Education
      • High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
      • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (Preferred)


      Certification/Licensure
      • Active CMA, RMA, or NREMT-Basic (Required)
      • BLS is required within 90 days of hire.


      Experience
      • 1 year of clinical or administrative experience (Required)
      • Phlebotomy experience (Preferred)
