What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the first point of contact for patient care and perform administrative duties
- Conduct clinical tasks such as obtaining vital signs, administering medications and vaccines, and performing phlebotomy
- Collaborate with Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers in delivering patient care
- Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical records system
- Mentor and provide guidance to other Medical Assistants and contribute to process improvement

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Certification or registration as a Medical Assistant
- Minimum of 1+ years of Medical Assistant experience
- Experience in phlebotomy and medication/vaccine administration
- High school diploma or equivalent and CPR certification
- Willingness to participate in Tuberculosis (TB) screening program

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 1+ years of Medical Assistant experience in a Primary Care Organization (PCO) center
- Knowledge of Value-Based Care including HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS Patient Experience
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, passing a proficiency exam
