What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform patient-oriented procedures under the clinical supervision of a practitioner
- Ensure patient visits are complete from intake to checkout, explaining next steps and addressing questions
- Maintain availability to assist other Medical Assistants as needed
- Support clinic management in preparation for regulatory Facility Site Reviews (FSR) and audits
- Demonstrate knowledge of all back office functions in accordance with the Medical Assistant role
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- 0-3 years of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant in Primary Care
- Active and unrestricted Certified Medical Assistant certification
- Active and unrestricted Certified CPR certification
- Must be available and punctual for scheduled work shifts
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 1-3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in family practice or pediatrics
- Managed care experience
- Bilingual capabilities
