What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage patient scheduling, appointments, and follow-ups
- Handle medical records, data entry, and documentation in EHR systems
- Administer intake appointments and provide proactive outreach to patients
- Monitor, triage, and respond to incoming member messages
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Proven experience as a medical assistant, virtual medical assistant, or in an administrative support role in a healthcare setting
- Strong familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems (e.g., Epic, eCW, gGastro)
- Experience in message triaging, charting, or medical documentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with telemedicine platforms is a plus
