Job Description

- Utilize Electronic Medical Record system
- Assists physicians by performing administrative and clinical duties
- Interviews patients to obtain their medical history.
- Records patient medical history, vital statistics, and test results in patient medical files.
- Cleans and sterilize medical equipment and instruments.
- Assists physicians during examination by handing over instruments and materials.
- Clean treatment rooms following patient examinations.
- Demonstrate a commitment to maintain work practices that comply with established office policies and procedures.
- Promote a safe environment for patients, visitors, and peers.
- Oversee and ensure that patient's needs are met and that patients are served in an efficient and patient-friendly manner
- Respond to staff doctor needs before, during, and after patient exam
- Answer incoming telephone calls, greet and check in patients in a professional, courteous, and timely manner
- Excellent computer skills
- Ability to work with confidential information and under pressure
- Strong communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Demonstrates initiative
- Team player
- Full-time – Monday-Friday: 7:30am-4:30pm
- Training will be completed at our Colchester location
- Minimum: 1 to 5 years of work experience in a medical setting
- Preferred experience with Electronic Medical Record EHR
- Flexibility to travel to satellite clinics on occasion with travel reimbursements
- High School Diploma is required
