What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Room patients and measure and record vital signs, including height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration
- Conduct patient interviews and gather medical history
- Prepare patients for examinations, tests, and treatments, explaining procedures as needed
- Assist in examinations and carry out treatments and special tests as ordered by the physician
- Set up medical treatment rooms and collect samples (blood, urine, sputum) for routine laboratory tests

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- A diploma from a Medical Assistant Program, or a minimum of 1 year of medical assisting experience, or military medic training, or EMT-P (Paramedic) training, or equivalent of 1 year combined relevant medical assisting experience and education
- Open availability to work Monday - Friday between 7:30 am and 5:30 pm for a total of 40 hours per week
