What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collect and record patients' medical history and vital signs
- Perform EKGs, dressing changes, and assist providers with procedures
- Manage patient appointment schedules and administrative tasks
- Greet and assist patients in a professional and courteous manner
- Interact with the public and provide exceptional customer service
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma, GED, or formal educational equivalent
- Successful completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Previous experience in an ambulatory care setting
- Current Basic Life Support Card (BLS)
- Basic computer skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 0-2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a healthcare setting
