      Job Description

      Maintain patient flow, supports providers, assists and promotes the delivery of primary and preventative health care. Performs technical procedures and clinically oriented activities under nursing supervision.

      Salary Range:
      $17.00 - $22.55 an hour

      The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

      Job Requirements

      Qualifications:

      1. Education: Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program; or 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, PCT, LPN or other relevant role in clinic capacity.
      2. Experience: Two years in outpatient care setting preferred.
      3. License/Certification Required: MA certification preferred; CPR certification required. (American Heart Association Basic Life Support Certification).
      4. Skills (to include equipment, software, etc.): Ability to perform under the stress of working with people who are ill and may be demanding. Ability to defuse or cope with anger and hostility in others. Effective interpersonal communication and problem solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively and courteously with others.
