- Prepare exam rooms and assist providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints.
- Administer medications and immunizations as directed by providers.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens (e.g., blood, urine).
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Schedule appointments, manage referrals, and assist with patient follow-up.
- Ensure exam rooms and equipment are clean, stocked, and compliant with infection control standards.
- Provide culturally competent care and support to a diverse patient population.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and team meetings.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- CPR/BLS certification required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a community health or FQHC environment.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Position Summary:
The Medical Assistant (MA) plays a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care at our Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). The MA assists providers with clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring efficient patient flow and a positive experience for all patients.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00/hr.
