      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Prepare patients for examination and treatment by taking patient histories and vital signs
      - Maintain exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies, ensuring sterilization
      - Administer injections and assist with lab testing and phlebotomy
      - Support physicians in preparing for minor surgeries and physicals
      - Answer telephone calls and screen for referrals

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program or twelve months of direct clinical patient care experience
      - Candidates without Medical Assistant Certification must obtain it within one year of hire date
      - Recent graduates must obtain clinical MA certification within 60 days of employment
      - Active and unrevoked certification as RMA, CCMA, CMA, NCMA, or NCRMA is highly preferred
      - Must live within 2 hours of Nashville

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - One year of medical work experience in a healthcare setting
