What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Respond to inquiries from insurance carriers through various communication channels
- Pursue reimbursement from carriers and resolve account issues
- Coordinate third-party collections and reduce outstanding balances
- Identify denial patterns, perform account investigations, and prepare charge corrections
- Appeal carrier denials, verify patient benefit eligibility, and research diagnosis and treatment codes

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma
- Minimum of 1-2 years of hands-on experience in a fast-paced medical billing environment
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting
- Familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 coding
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and solid PC skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- CPC certification
- Proven ability in collections and negotiation
