      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Review medical claims against medical records to ensure compliance with coding guidelines
      - Analyze and ensure accuracy of procedure codes based on services rendered
      - Conduct peer reviews to ensure coding compliance and produce necessary reports
      - Maintain patient and physician confidentiality while following federal and state guidelines
      - Support process and quality improvement initiatives within the department

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - CPC, COC, CCS, ROCC, RHIA, or RHIT Certification with a minimum of 3 years post-certification experience
      - Minimum of 3 years post-certification experience in Outpatient Specialty Surgeries and Procedures
      - Strong knowledge of CPT/HCPCS coding
      - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
      - Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel)

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - 5+ years prior coding experience
      - Experience reading and interpreting claims
      - Outpatient facility auditing experience
      - Familiarity with Ambulatory Payment Classification (APC) coding
      - Experience with the Claims Life Cycle, including Accounts Receivable
