What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct prospective review of clinical documentation and reimbursement claims for accuracy
- Interpret medical information to assign correct ICD-10-CM, CPT, and/or HCPCS codes
- Review and correct claim edits to ensure accurate code assignment
- Provide technical guidance to providers on coding best practices
- Collaborate with coding supervisor on workflow processes and special projects

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Current Medical Coding Certification required
- Strong E/M coding experience preferred
- Hierarchical Condition Category (HCC) experience preferred
- Medical billing experience a plus
- Proficiency in Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payer reimbursement

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 0-2 years of experience in medical coding
- Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
