- Stay current on CPT and ICD-10 changes and insurance updates
- Document all interactions and actions in the patient's account

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) through the AAPC
- High School diploma or GED required
- Associate Degree preferred
- Coding experience and medical billing experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 0-2 years of experience in healthcare-related coding or billing
- Knowledge of insurance industry and billing procedures
