      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Register all new patients at check-in and accurately enter data into the computer system
      - Ensure updated and accurate demographic information for established patients
      - Request co-pays, patient balances, and coinsurance from patients upon arrival
      - Provide support for incoming calls to the clinic and communicate patient arrivals to the clinical area
      - Complete pre-certification/pre-authorizations before patient arrival and prepare charts for the next day’s patients

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Minimum of 1 year of medical front desk and customer service experience
      - At least 6 months of experience with electronic medical records (EMR), preferably ECW or Athena
      - Minimum of 6 months of experience in obtaining prior authorizations
      - High School Diploma or GED

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in a healthcare setting
      - Familiarity with the operations of a medical office
      - Strong organizational and multitasking skills
