What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage prior authorizations and insurance verification processes
- Communicate with patients, providers, and insurance payers via phone and email
- Verify patients' insurance coverage and ensure accuracy
- Handle inbound and outbound calls from patients and insurance providers
- Maintain attendance standards and reliability in the role
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in medical insurance, specifically in prior authorizations
- Experience with Medicare/Medicaid program administration
- Proficiency in insurance verification and claim adjudication or medical billing
- Familiarity with ICD-10, HCPCS, or CPT coding is highly advantageous
- Must demonstrate a strong attendance record
