What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform phlebotomy on patients in a clinical setting at the Regional Pathology Services
- Process and report results for outreach laboratory specimens while adhering to identification policies
- Manage information related to patient specimens and communicate effectively with clients
- Maintain compliance with phlebotomy protocols and safety procedures
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school education or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical and/or phlebotomy experience in a healthcare environment
- Valid Driver's License required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook
- Knowledge of medical terminology and phlebotomy protocols

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Associate's degree in Healthcare or Biological Sciences
- Experience in phlebotomy within an outreach laboratory setting
- Certification in phlebotomy (PBT ASCP) preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Background in customer service within a medical or healthcare environment
