- Customer service: Demonstrate excellent customer service to all patients, clinicians, employees, visitors, etc. Assure office is operating in an efficient well organized and professional manner, responsible for evacuations when needed.
- Prepare correspondents and all applicable reports. Maintain schedules & calendars. Assist with billing. Maintain all admissions paperwork
- Database administration: Enter track and update all necessary data and information on databases including but not limited to, Sharepoint, Acumed, Sungard, IEP Direct, NYEISS.
- Maintain office supplies and equipment including but not limited to, fax machines, copiers, printers.
- Assist department supervisors when needed.
- General clerical duties: Typing, making copies, and filing. Cover for another role, including switchboard when needed. Listen to and return voicemails by end of the day.
- Any other duties as requested by your supervisors.

Buffalo Hearing & Speech Center is seeking a full time Medical Office Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support & customer service in our busy Audiology clinic. Previous medical insurance & billing experience preferred.
This position will be primarily located at our Buffalo location on the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus (free onsite parking!) and will travel as needed to provide coverage at our other clinic locations in West Seneca, Amherst, and Niagara Falls. This position is scheduled for 37.5 hours a week: Mondays, Wednesdays & Thursdays: 8am - 4:30pm, Tuesdays: 9am - 6pm, Fridays 8am - 3pm.

Skills:
Education: Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
Experience: 2 years’ experience with customer service. Prior medical office experience preferred.
