      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Manage a high-frequency desk primarily handling medical-only claims
      - Investigate, evaluate, and determine compensability for work-related injury and disease claims
      - Establish action plans to manage benefits associated with claims to ensure cost-effective outcomes
      - Collaborate with injured workers, employers, and health professionals to manage claims costs
      - Analyze reports and negotiate claim settlements to achieve optimal outcomes

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Minimum of one year of experience in insurance, customer service, claims investigation, legal, rehabilitation, or medical claims processing
      - Must pass the claims adjuster license exam(s) within 6 months of hire
      - Ability to use logic and sound reasoning for problem-solving
      - Strong written and verbal communication skills
      - Ability to multitask and manage time effectively

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
      - Workers’ compensation claims experience and licensure
      - Experience with multiple state claims management
      - Familiarity with claims management systems and Microsoft Office suite
      - Strong analytical skills and ability to develop effective internal and external relationships
