      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Review and ensure accuracy of coding in accordance with established rules and policies
      - Perform system edit reviews and follow up on insurance coding denials for resolution
      - Troubleshoot and resolve issues preventing claims from being released
      - Respond to coding information requests and inquiries from various sources
      - Collaborate with internal customers and external vendors for clarification on documentation

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School diploma or equivalent
      - Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Coder
      - Knowledge of ICD-10CM, CPT, and HCPSC coding systems
      - Working knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
      - Associate's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - AHIMA accreditation for Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) preferred
      - Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Medical Coder (CMC) certification preferred
