What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Contact medical providers to request updated medical records and information
- Manage incoming calls from providers and the Social Security Administration (SSA)
- Follow up systematically on outstanding records requests
- Expedite urgent records requests as needed
- Review and process invoices for medical records submissions
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma; some college or technical training preferred
- Customer service experience
- Minimum typing speed of 45 words per minute
- Strong communication and active listening skills
- Ability to maintain client confidentiality and work well under pressure
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Background in Social Security Disability Law or related medical field
- Spanish language proficiency
- Experience working in a team-oriented environment
