What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Travel up to 75% of the time to provider offices within the region
- Scan medical records into a secure system using a laptop computer and portable scanner
- Schedule appointments and visits to physician offices in a timely manner
- Ensure accurate and properly supported clinical documentation within the health record
- Follow state and federal regulations as well as internal policies and guidelines
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 1 or more years of provider office and/or medical office setting experience
- 1 or more years of Medical Record and/or health information experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Word and Excel
- Ability to lift 30 lbs
- Valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) system
- Medical Record retrieval experience
