What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Maintain and organize medical records, ensuring timely and accurate documentation
- Retrieve, sort, scan, and assemble medical records into proper chart order
- Communicate with hospitals and facilities to confirm patient information
- Assist clinicians by logging patient information and evaluating call needs
- Utilize Homecare Homebase for efficient workflow processing of medical records
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Education/GED or equivalent
- Minimum of one year working in a medical office environment
- Experience with Homecare Homebase is preferred
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to regulatory standards
- Strong organizational and communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in a home health or hospice setting
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
- Proficiency in handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Ability to work collaboratively with clinical staff and management
