What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Maintain agency medical records in a timely and accurate manner
- Assist with daily back-office operations as assigned
- Retrieve, sort, scan, and assemble paper or electronic medical records
- Communicate with hospitals and facilities to confirm patient information
- Utilize Homecare Homebase for workflow processing of records
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Education/GED or equivalent
- One year working in a medical office environment
- Experience with Homecare Homebase
- Must receive all required vaccinations as a condition of employment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 0-2 years of experience working with electronic medical records systems
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and compliance
