What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Process requests for patient health information in compliance with company policies and HIPAA regulations
- Maintain confidentiality and security of privileged information
- Manage and safeguard patient health records ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Assist with additional duties such as answering calls and handling administrative tasks
- Create digital images of paperwork for electronic medical records
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to use general office equipment
- Professional verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong data entry skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a healthcare environment
- Previous production/metric-based work experience
- In-person customer service experience
- Ability to build relationships with clients and customers
- Comfortable providing feedback and suggesting process improvements
