      About the Role

      We are seeking a skilled Medical Sales Content Writer to create high-quality, engaging, and compelling sales-driven content for our genetics and medical testing venture. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating compelling sales content, along with medical writing, preferably with direct experience in genetic testing, human biology, or related fields. The ability to translate complex medical concepts into clear, compelling content for both professional and consumer audiences is necessary.

      This role is perfect for someone who can balance medical accuracy with persuasive messaging, producing everything from SEO-driven blogs, strong sales web pages, and educational video scripts. You will work closely with our leadership team to develop a consistent voice across all materials.
      Scope and Duration

      10-20 hours/week for the first month; potential for ongoing engagement
      6 months, with potential extension

      Key Responsibilities
      • Write and edit a variety of content types, including:

        • Craft content with a strategic marketing and sales perspective, aiming to guide readers toward purchasing genetic testing kits.
        • Web copy for service pages and landing pages very conversion driven
        • SEO-optimized blog articles (1,000+ words)
        • Video scripts (1-10 minutes) for marketing, educational purposes, and most importantly to drive sales
        • Social media copy with a balance of education and promotion
        • Press releases and contributed articles for publication in medical and industry outlets
      • Conduct thorough research to ensure all content meets high standards of medical accuracy.
      • Collaborate with the team on content strategy, particularly during the first month of onboarding.
      • Maintain brand voice and ensure consistency across all channels.
      Qualifications

      Required:
      • Proven experience writing in the medical or healthcare space.
      • Strong research skills and ability to fact-check medical content.
      • Ability to create content that blends medical authority with a persuasive, sales lens.
      • Excellent command of written English and attention to detail.

      Preferred (Not Required, but a Plus):
      • Medical degree (MD, DO) or nursing degree (RN) with writing experience.
      • Experience in genetic testing or related disciplines.
      • Publication credits in medical journals, industry magazines, or authoritative online platforms.
      • On-camera presentation skills (potential to serve as a brand presenter in videos).
