What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance product utilization within key accounts in the Gastroenterology area
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Gastroenterology experts, nurses, office staff, and patient advocacy groups
- Collaborate with regional colleagues and home office teams to address customer needs and market dynamics
- Participate in and lead initiatives that support sales success, including industry meetings and medical conferences
- Consistently achieve and exceed sales performance goals in a compliant manner
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BA/BS in science or business; master's degree is a plus
- Minimum of 5 years’ sales experience in the Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industry
- Proven track record of success in complex market environments
- Experience with compliance guidelines and customer segments
- Ability to travel 30-50% within the assigned territory
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in gastroenterology or biologics
- Demonstrated passion for science and proactive learning about disease states and treatment options
- Experience in training office staff, nurses, and office managers
