Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing and supportive team, for anyone who would like to build a career in the NHS.
The post holder will be required to work across all three specialties of GI Surgery, providing support where required. Key tasks will include, scanning, formatting letters, responding to email queries and taking phone calls.
They will be a key point of contact for queries for patients, relatives, and other professionals, and will be a key part of the team.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will have excellent organisational, written and verbal communication skills and be knowledgeable on database management. This job also involves typing of clinical letters including other secretarial and administrative duties. Please see next section for more detail.
