What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Coordinate, process, and document all aspects of member complaints across the Medicare line of business
- Manage a large volume of incoming appeals, ensuring timely resolution within contractual and regulatory timeframes
- Collaborate with key departments and external partners to resolve grievances effectively
- Document and supervise grievance files, ensuring completeness and accuracy of all relevant information
- Participate in internal and external audits and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years of health plan experience, ideally in customer service or appeals and grievances
- Experience leading appeals and grievances for Medicare products is highly preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic work environment

- Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Experience participating in audits or compliance-related activities
