- Perform the Medicare billing processes, which includes:
- Submission of initial billing claim batches
- Review and analysis on client's unbilled accounts
- Corrections to rejected claims in clearinghouses.
- Maintenance of initial billing schedules
- Development and maintenance of internal spreadsheets and databases, as necessary
- Knowledge of and communication regarding issues related to billing, claims rejections, and unbilled accounts receivable.
- Two years of Medicare Billing experience within Home Health & Hospice field.
- Experience with EMR and Clearinghouse systems.
- Proficient in excel and reporting.

Medicare Billing Specialist - Healthcare (Fully Remote)

We are looking for a Medicare Billing Specialist to join our growing team. As a Medicare Billing Specialist, you will follow up on aged receivables, work Medicare claims from billing to payment, review and reconcile rejections. SimiTree is looking for a candidate that has experience with Medicare billing, ability to multitask, and is detail oriented. This is a fully remote position!
Job Overview
The Medicare Billing Specialist will perform initial billing for Medicare payors. In this role, the Specialist will submit timely, accurate claim batches to Medicare payors. Additionally, a Medicare Billing Specialist will provide resolution to rejected claims in the Medicare clearinghouses and assist with unbilled reporting.
