- Coverage areas – Houston, Dallas, East, TX and Oklahoma City, OK
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and insurance, required (mileage reimbursement provided)
- General Lines Agent License (GLA) required
- Bi-lingual preferred, but not required
- 80% Production and people management focus, driving to achieve and exceed the new sales Plan goal
- 20% strategy focus - 3-6 month planning with Broker Sales Representatives, local Brokers, Agencies and senior management to effectively build and drive the market business strategy and drives sales
- Plans and executes the local Broker sales strategy to achieve and exceed the Plan sales goal by supporting Brokers and Agencies in building their book of business and optimizing sales opportunities.
- Develops, motivates, evaluates and coaches Sales Team on lead generation, local Broker and Agency performance tracking and reporting, community and provider development, sales techniques, compliance and performance goals. Is visible and available to staff to answer questions, evaluate results, resolve escalated questions/challenges and give ongoing consistent feedback.
- Schedules formal one-on-one meetings to review and discuss performance to key metrics; goal attainment and career development.
- Drives team usage and understanding of systems, policies, programs and procedures knowledge.
- Manages and monitors daily workflow and reporting to ensure business objectives are maintained and accurately reported.
- Develops and maintains strong collaborative relationships with internal business partners and external key contacts to develop and drive additional lead generation and sales opportunities, maintain excellent lines of communication and provide insight and impact.
- Use reporting tools, product knowledge, and sales strategies to coach, mentor and motivate Broker Sales Representatives, Brokers, and Agencies.
- Other duties as assigned
- 5 or more years of work experience with 1or more years of management experience required
- 1 or more years of Medicare Advantage sales experience required
- Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed Plan sales goals
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, communication (written and oral) and organizational skills
- High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and information
- Strong time management and organization skills

The Medicare Sales Broker Manager manages a team of Medicare Broker Sales Representatives (BSR) to achieve and exceed the Plan sales goal. The Medicare Sales Broker Manager is responsible for motivating & coaching BSR team, conducting routine Agent and Agency meetings alongside BSR to observe and improve relationship building, sales presentation technique and ensure adherence to critical Medicare related Compliance guidelines. The Medicare Sales Agent Manager will also be responsible for monitoring sales performance, through various data and reporting metrics, to gain insight and share observations with sales leadership.
