What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist providers with the medication refill process and ensure patient compliance
- Communicate with patients and healthcare providers to obtain and document accurate medication histories
- Input medication lists into the electronic health record (EHR) system
- Address discrepancies identified during the medication history process with pharmacists and prescribers
- Provide high-quality customer service to patients and care team members

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a pharmacy technician
- Medication Therapy Management Certification obtained through the PTCB, NHIA Reimbursement training, or ASHP within 6 months
- Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with electronic prior authorization
- Experience in taking patient medication histories
- Certified Pharmacy Technician license in the state of practice
