Job Description
- Req#: 119317
- Prepare current patient-specific medication list in accordance with department processes and procedures.
- Clarify obvious drug problems in the medication regimen.
- Optimally triage patients to provide an accurate medication list available for physician review, using all communication options available including e-mail, fax and direct patient or provider contact.
- Enter medications and allergies into patients’ profiles as appropriate.
- Perform other administrative responsibilities as assigned.

M Health Fairview is looking for a Medication Scribe in the Emergency Department at our University of Minnesota Medical Center West Bank campus. This position is for a Casual on the day/eve/night shift with 8 hour shifts and an as needed weekend rotation. This position is responsible for gathering and detailing patient medical info into the EMR and assisting with other administrative tasks.

QualificationsRequired
Two years of healthcare experience or experience working as an LPN, CMA, CNA and/or TMA and/or pharmacy experience.
