What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Plan, organize, evaluate, and deliver person-centered therapeutic activity programs for residents in high care areas
- Collaborate with the Life Enrichment Manager in planning and executing all resident activities
- Conduct initial activities assessments for new admissions, focusing on residents' life history and activity preferences
- Support the completion of resident MDS assessments and track participation in activities
- Coordinate with the Life Enrichment Manager to purchase activity supplies and monitor budgets

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of five years' experience in therapeutic, recreational, and leisure activities in a geriatric environment, focusing on dementia care
- Bachelor's Degree in an activities or health services-related field
- Valid Virginia Driver's License; CPR and First Aid certified

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- ADC certification
- Experience in a high care setting
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
