What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage all aspects of the office and client care coordination for mental health patients
- Schedule appointments and maintain familiarity with clinicians' scheduling preferences and specialties
- Verify insurance benefits and communicate details to patients prior to their appointments
- Process and manage incoming referrals in a timely and accurate manner
- Ensure accurate and complete documentation in patient charts and assist clients with intake paperwork
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Previous work experience in a medical or mental health setting
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills with proficiency in Google Workspace, Excel, and Microsoft Products
- Ability to navigate and use an Electronic Health Record System
- Adherence to HIPAA privacy laws
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Medical administrative certification
- Billing/Coding Certification
- Spanish speaking proficiency
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills
- Experience handling sensitive and personal matters with discretion
