      Overview

      The Mental Health Professional is responsible for overseeing all aspects of mental health and behavioral management of campers and staff. The Mental Health Professional role is a safety sensitive position.

      Responsibilities

      • Assist camper with any mental health and behavioral issues that arise as well as check-in and follow up with campers
      • Develop camper behavioral plans as needed
      • Collaborate with Parent Liaison as needed
      • Lead mental health professional development for staff
      • Assist staff with alleviating burn out
      • Be able to create new mental health initiatives for staff and campers

      Qualifications

      • Must be 21 years of age or older
      • Bachelor’s Degree or related field is preferred (or working toward degree)
      • Have prior experience working in social work, mental health or related field
      • Must have ability to problem solve, observational skills, deescalate crisis situation and be resilient
      • Must show enthusiasm, dedication, responsibility and maturity and have excellent communication skills with campers, parents and staff whether in person, over the phone, or via email

      Posted Salary Range

      USD $700.00 - USD $700.00 /Wk.
