      As a member of the City Expansion team, you will be responsible for overseeing and shaping the business's entire operations and go-to-market plan in every corner in Thailand where it will be the key growth driver for all of Grab’s services.

      Get to know the Role

      The role is a balance of strategy operation, stakeholder management, and team management on merchant acquisition in all cities. They are also leading day-to-day sales performance management and coordination with related parties i.e., Merchant operation, Marketing, Expansion, and Community management team to grow the supply.

      The Day-to-Day Activities:

      • Drive merchant acquisition by identifying opportunities and, in coordination with the cross-functional teams, implementing programs that will drive merchant preference for GrabMart onboarding.

      • Manage and lead the entire merchant onboarding process to ensure Grab provides a seamless onboarding and activation experience for all merchant partners. You will be driving business analytics and problem solve issues to ensure the merchant onboarding flow runs efficiently and effectively

      • Work closely with the Sales team to execute acquisition strategies and initiatives.

      • Develop, support & oversee the successful attainment of the department's strategic training goals;

      • Monitor and analyze our historical performance and provide plans & feedback for business improvement and solutions to issues that we are facing & work with each relevant team to make it happen.

      The Must-Haves:

      • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field

      • 1-3 years of work experience, preferably in a relevant field such as sales, or business development.

      • Prior experience in managing sales teams

      • Salesforce & Basic MS office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), experience with SQL is a plus.

      • Have good communication skills, comfortable working with internal and external team

      • A highly independent individual with excellent team-working skills.

      • Quantitative discipline with strong business sense and ability to articulate complex analyses to a wide range of audiences, and translate these to actionable business insights.

      • Ability to see the big picture while not losing sight of details.
