- Req#: R0021290
- Manages the Commercial Insurance due diligence process from start to finish, including the communication with internal subject matter experts, clients (private equity deal team), target company c-suite executives, and other third-party deal advisors.
- Prepares and presents reports on the Commercial Insurance and risk management programs of the proposed acquisition
- Assembles relevant diligence information and analyze the quality of the insurance program commenting on coverage adequacy, uncovered risks, pricing as well as providing risk management recommendations.
- Collects and compiles ongoing data uploads.
- Works on multiple projects simultaneously
- Works with specialized coverage and industry experts within HUB across North America to provide a written evaluation and recommendations to the potential buyer of the Target Company.
- Reviews and analyzes financial statements of companies targeted for acquisition.
- Provides assistance in the ongoing relationship management of our private equity clients
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3 - 8 years of Commercial Insurance due diligence insurance experience.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Working knowledge of private equity and M&A market trends
- Ability to think critically, commercially, strategically and practically
- Experience working independently and as part of large, cross-functional teams
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and to complete assigned projects by prescribed deadlines
- Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
- Strong organizational, time and client management skills
- Resourceful self-starter who can work independently
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills are also required
- Willingness to adopt a flexible time schedule and work style to meet the needs of a highly acquisitive organization
- Availability to travel periodically as needed
