What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage measurement service operations and oversee Enhanced Services employees at the Metrology Service Center
- Develop departmental goals, objectives, policies, and procedures
- Ensure compliance with company policies and the Quality Manual
- Conduct part inspections, analyze measurement data, and prepare reports in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 standards
- Train and mentor metrology programmers and technicians
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum 2-year technical degree or equivalent experience; 4-year technical degree preferred
- 7-10 years of experience as a Programmer
- Proficient in three product lines relevant to the position
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of aerospace, automotive, and medical industry specifications
- Ability to program from 2D prints and 3D CAD models
- Experience with FAI and PPAP processes
- Proficiency in GD&T and ASME Y14.5M-2009 standards
- Understanding of SPC principles
